Nikon D3Xs...fact or fiction?

UPDATE (2/12/08):

Well, we weren't too far off the mark...it's actually the D3X and it's been officially announced by Nikon. More info as it's available. For now, all we know is it's 24MP...nice :)

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

In what has been described as an "officially leaked rumor", a dpreview.com contributor is claiming to have heard news of a new flagship digital SLR from Nikon, the D3Xs.

A quick scan of the Internet and most of the information available appears to be speculation as to the existence of the camera, rather than information on the camera itself.

We'll let you know as soon as we have some concrete information. The big question is how could Nikon possibly improve on the beautiful NIkon D3 (pictured).
